Jerry conjures up more Fringe dates

Jerry Sadowitz has become the first comedian to extend his Edinburgh run - a month before the festival even kicks off.

Strong advance ticket sales mean he has added another week of dates to his close-up magic shows.

The mid-afternoon performances, at the Smirnoff Underbelly, come with the warrning "not suitable for children or magicians - any found in the audience will be ruthlessly beaten".

His run now extends from August 1 to 17.

Sadowitz is also performing two nights off his provocatively offensive stand-up at the Assembly Rooms on August 19 and 20.
