Going, going...

BBC2 comedy shows slide again

Viewers are deserting BBC2's new comedy line-up in their droves, with every show losing more than a quarter of their audience from last week.

Worst hit was Steve Coogan's spoof Mr Terrible's House Of Horrible - which lost 37 per cent of last week's 2.5million viewers.

Its audience figures plummeted to just 1.4million, meaning only 6 per cent of viewers were tuned into it.

And Stephen Tonkinson's sitcom Mr Charity has just 1.1million viewers - down from the disappointing 1.6million it achieved last week.

The Kumars at No 42 still attracted the biggest audience of the line-up - but at 2.2million viewers, it was still 800,000 down on a week ago.
