Billionaire celebrates 200th episode

Microsoft founder Bill Gates is to appear in Frasier.

The billionaire will play himself in a cameo role on the show's 200th episode, due to be screened in the US next month.

His scenes were filmed yesterday.

Gates's empire is based near Seattle, where the show is set.

The sitcom boasts an impressive string of previous star cameos, but usually confined to the voices of callers to the psychiatrist's radio phone-in.

Cindy Crawford, John McEnroe, Christopher Reeve Jodie Foster and Eric Idle are among those who have told Dr Crane their problems.
