Jenny Eclair has announced her first solo London show.

The comic, who has just finished a short stint in the West End production of The Vagina Monologues alongside Jerry Hall, be performing her Edinburgh hit Middle Aged Bimbo at the Soho Theatre next month.

Eclair said: "I'm very chuffed to be doing this. After schlepping round the provinces, it's nice to be back where I belong, on the streets of Soho.

"It'll be just like the old days, wobbling home in the early hours of the morning reeking of booze, make up round my ears, pockets stuffed with my night's takings.

"Seriously, see the show, buy my book and take me for dinner at The Ivy."
