Phil Nichol’s debut stand-up DVD is out today – and we have six copies to give away.
The release is a double-bill of his two acclaimed shows Nearly Gay and The Naked Racist, recorded at the Garrick Theatre in London.
The Naked Racist won Nichol the Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2006, and Nearly Gay was the show he took to the festival the previous year.
Writing on the sleeve notes to the new Laughing Stock DVD, Nichol says: ‘These are true stories told from the heart. The only changes I made to each tale was in the timescale, personal names to protect the innocent, and I paraphrased a bit of the dialogue to make it flow better.
‘Other than that these are the stories as they happened, or how I remember them anyway.’
