Truly superb last night at Roar With Laughter (Colliers Wood). There is a depth to the material far greater than just an upper-middle class man drawing attention to his own quirks and foibles. His self-deprecation is funny and charming enough by itself, but it has the added effect of getting you on his side when he rails against sundry injustices in a hilarious and often inspired fashion. The last sane man in a world gone mad.
