Saw him compere at the Crack Comedy Club in Kingston. He's very relaxed and confident, so you don't see the joins (as you so often do with other comics). He's not a shouter, he seems at ease with the audience. He's got a lovely voice too. (Hence his job in radio) . People in the audience seemed to enjoy him.

Nick Booth, March 2013

An hour of fun in Edinburgh - more than enjoyable - quick witted, cheesy and groany. Good audience interaction, personable and likable. Would like to see a less 'news based' set to see what other directions he is comfortable in - perhaps pushing a bit outside of comfort zones.

London Cyclist, August 2012

Saw Steve at the Edinburgh fringe. A very funny and very likeable Man. Great audience interaction made for a viewing pleasure.

Sam, August 2012

Very funny, can see him on Live at the Apollo easily!

Amy, August 2012

Saw Steve last night in Stoke, a club I've never been to before, am used to larger venues or Fringe etc. Though he was not given top billing, he out performed the other acts by far. There was a very mixed audience in age and comedy taste and Steve pitched to all of us. Very clever material that I cannot wait to see how he develops it over the months/years. Definitely a 'keeper' and a man we will travel to see again.

Jackie O, May 2011

Listened to Steve on the radio & enjoyed, but must say his material stands even better live! Good variety of jokes & anecdotes which fit nicely with his casual delivery. Clearly a man that is 'comfortable in is own skin'.

Liesa Hammond, April 2011

Saw Steve tonight at The Walnut Tree. I listen to local commercial radio in a morning for the traffic updates, the rest is bland banal mediocre trivia, and thus was this. I did go out with the intention of “having a laugh” but it failed to materialise. Good at manipulating a compliant audience but no cerebral material and overall dull.

Graham Fearon, October 2010

Very naturally funny and likeable.
