Edinburgh-born Rory Bremner, is one of Britain’s leading satirical impressionist, gaining national recognition in the 1980s for his sharp political satire and uncanny impersonation of public figures. His television debut came with the BBC show Now – Something Else which ran from 1986 to 1991. He became a household name with the satirical series Rory Bremner...Who Else? and later Bremner, Bird and Fortune a collaboration with comedians John Bird and John Fortune. Bremner has appeared on radio and stage, contributing to programmes such as Radio 4's Dead Ringers. He has also translated operas and plays from French and German and been involved in campaigns raising awareness for dyslexia, a condition he was diagnosed with as an adult. Married to artist Tessa Campbell Fraser, the couple have two daughter.
