Saw Nik last night at The Stand in Edinburgh. It was a real pleasure to see him perform again. Great material, with loads of energy and he worked the audience brilliantly. Can't wait 'til he's back in Scotland.

Seen him perform as a compere and solo - really brings an audience together with his easy style. Very confident, intelligent and quick to pick up on potential audience participation. Can't imagine him getting booed off stage unless the audience were not quite at his level! Easy on the eye and very funny and energetic - may even book him myself very soon.

Nik can draw a disparate audience together and can entertain them with stories from his childhood through to his fear, or is it his love/fascination, of spiders

I was at that Norwich gig too and it is true that Nik didn't have a great time, but he did the last time he was on. And it was actually a member of the audiences idea to 'boo' them back, not Nik's. Were you listening Adam?

Nik Coppin booed? Well there's one for the books. Never have I seen a bad show of Nik's. He wins his crowd over immediately with his charm & charisma & enthusiasm for his work. He is without a doubt one of my favourites. He easily makes people smile and laugh and forget the bad days they may have had. Definitely what I like to see in a comedy act. My friends & I know we are in for a good time when he is performing. Keep it up!

I''m reading these comments in amazement, he came to Norwich in Sept 06 and died.He was not laddish at all. He was not charming or witty. He was however dull and boring and eventually booed off stage. When the booing started his comeback was to boo back! He then said that these boo boys wouldn't let his act to turn into some crap panto. For someone to shout 'Oh yes we will' Everyone erupted into laughter and he walked off stage He was awful unfortunately.Comics must obviously have really bad days. This was his

This man can talk! With natural funnyness he spins a web and captures his audience. I dont think anyone could sit through his show and not laugh. His fascination with spiders is bizarre but hilarious.Hope he comes back to Oz soon - there's not enough funny Englishmen here

An absolute delight and a fantastic comedian who had the audience in the palm of his hand, I'd book him again in an instant.
