One of the few female comics to consistently deliver top notch sets. Not to be missed.

Oh this comic is both a dreadful bore and has nothing to say. Unless its 'The other day at the BBC...' Or 'When I was at Cambridge' - and when these gems inevitably fall on their arse, she retorts back to the good old use of the C word. Usually in conjunction with something about The Daily Mail. Avoid

She was great: Perverted and intellectual -what more could you want?
Martyn - 15/04/2005
Well I think she's Natalovely! At least she doesn't tale about periods like most bird comics.
Mark Morton - 25/02/2005
Intelligent, quick, quick-witted, funny (and with a Smurf obsession!)
Sir Lickalot - 18/02/2005
Needs to let the audience laugh instead of talking so fast that everybody holds their breath in case they miss something. Unfortunately the Smurf stuff isn't that shocking - we all suspected there was something odd going on...
Emma - 14/02/2005
Good delivery - very fast paced and clear - didnt think she was very funny ,though

Some of the most intelligent comedy I've seen. She's one of only a few truly original comics in the country: stand-up needs Natalie Haynes or the future of British comedy really will be just fat blokes telling knob gags and smug sketch shows on Radio 4.

First impressions are of a homely primary school teacher who has the cringefully annoying tone of a (passe) Purple Ronnie greeting card. But wait, it gets worse. Her attempts at engaging the audience in her endless list of 'things that have been/gone wrong for me' fail and are nothing more than the comedy equivalent of an irritating office bore. Without gaining any empathy, her strikes at the afflicted are totally out of place - leave that sort of stuff to Ricky Gervais, who can deliver tricky subjects with wit and brilliance. And as for the Perrier nomination talk - get real. If she EVER gets nominated I will weep for the future of British comedy. Get off Natalie, go an make some potato shapes and do what you were supposed to - patronise kids. Just don't con us into thinking that we're about to see ground breaking comedy. It just simply isn't.

Not that impressed, she was dying until the front row pressed her on a mention of a former teaching career.... then she came alive and stormed it.
Dave Hanlon - 23/09/2003
Saw her show in Edinburgh having not seen her for a couple of years and she is pretty good. Her anger at not being nominated for a Perrier is misplaced, though. It's not that she wasn't nominated because she's a woman. She wasn't nominated because she simply isn't that great. She may be one day. But she isn't now.

Seen her twice in Liverpool now and both times she was an absolute delight, her material is original and delivered with real charm. I'd recommend her to anyone.
Polly - 09/09/2003
Awful! I have seen her a couple of times and am still shocked at just how good she thinks she is.
Lucy Gosht - 20/06/2003
Brilliant. Edgy and thought-provoking. I saw her at Liverpool last year and she rocked. The new material is even better. Natalie should be on television.
Gemma - 15/05/2003
Biggest pile of shite I have ever seen. Is she ever gonna write any new material? Don't waste youre money, she's painful to watch.
Smith - 25/04/2003
I wasn't particularly impressed the first time I saw her but I saw her do a longer set recently and really enjoyed it. Perhaps she had time to settle, because it all fitted together very nicely. Will definitely look forward to seeing her next Edinburgh show.

These comments are spot on - some liked her and some thought she was gash. Last night my brother hated her and I thought she was hilarious! Its fifty fifty but I recomend you take the chance.
Simon - 01/03/2003
Absolutely loved her. Funniest stand-up I've seen for a long time. Made a new fan here
Hugh - 01/03/2003
Good material but needs to be a bit more confident in her delivery. A bit annoying to hear her keep referring to her Perrier award hence she must be good.
Rection - 11/01/2003
Fantastically amusing comic - fast paced, original, hilarious material, which reminded me of my own school days.
William - 09/01/2003
Incredible - her set is not just a string of excellent jokes in a row - it weaves a real web of ideas and intimacy that makes you think you've just made an intriguing new friend
