Noel Britten

Noel Britten started performing in 1996, when he won both the Hackney Empire and Ha Bloody Ha new act competitions. He has since worked his way up the circuit to be a Jongleurs regular who has performed around the world and at various corporate functions. He also runs nightly Bizarre Bath comedy tours of his home city of Bath for the summer tourist trade. |

Heard Noel Britten on Radio 4 extra. Brilliant gangster with original material. Needs to be on T V Ron, October 2012 |

Saw him last night, very good. Phil Hart, April 2009 |

Great act, good pro and funny... must have been a really bad night. Jeff Stevens, October 2008 |

Noel is a very funny fella. Andrew Heydon, December 2007 |

Noel is very simply a great act. Great material mixed with bizarre prop gags delivered brilliantly. Plus he has a composure on stage which is second to none. Nice guy also. Jay Ryan, December 2007 |

Saw Noel in Beverley last night and he was quality. I think your reviewer wants everyone to be Daniel Kitson. Noel is a great act that I guarantee will have any comedy crowd in stitches unless its full of reviewers who take themselves too seriously. Go see this man and you won't regret it. Jim Higo, November 2007 |

Saw him last week supporting Lee Mack. Just like, I suspect, most of the audience I had never heard of him before - but after a slightly hesitant start he soon had the audience eating out of his hand. The scripted stuff was excellent, and so was the audience interplay. For my money he was better than Lee Mack. Geoff Futcher, November 2007 |

I usually find myself in general concurrence with your reviews, but somehow this one seems to have missed the mark. I must have seen Noel perform over 30 times in the last 10 years (having booked him for many of these gigs) and have never seen him have a bad gig. Despite having heard many of his best gags countless times, he never fails to make me laugh every time I hear a line again. Consumate delivery and impeccable timing. More lines in 20 minutes than many acts come up with in their entire career. Adam Montgomery, August 2007 |
