He is a finely ballenced live performer who relies upon the good will of an audience to travel the unexpected path he's prepaired for them. He's not one of those comedians who's waiting and willing to cut down Heckles with a stock of insults and adlibs. He has great respect for a roomful of people who want to hear him, but seems genuinely hurt if that trust is broken. However you encounter him, if you put your brain in his skilful hands and he will fill it with laughter
