Absolute God of comedy.

Went to see Lee Evans last nite at Birmingham NIA (XL tour). Have to say absolutely brilliant. At one point I couldn't breathe for laughing that hard! To echo the words of others on here: a true comical genius

Just been to see Lee at the NIA in Birmingham - laughed so much. However, some areas were a bit disappointing where he used old material from Wired And Wonderful "village idiot.." etc. On the whole, a brilliant performance and a really good night out.

Saw Lee Evans live at Ipswich Saturday 17.09.05. It topped my list of the worst shows I have ever seen. I don't know whether it was because he was trying out material for his massive XL tour or what, but I felt his material at times was a) poor b) very dated - Bucks Fizz ffs c) Offensive - domestic violence is not funny. Quite frankly I found it on the whole purile,. OK some of his material is really funny, and his physical comedy is often outstanding, but it only accounted for abut ten per cent of the show. I dozed off three times.

Lee Evans is a fantastic comedian. he is not only brilliant at it but he enjoys the experience, is a genuinely kind person and has such discipline to keep going. A hard worker, unbeleivably funny and my hero.

Lee is hilarious when he makes his observances about life, and a very talented musician with the right mix of humour thrown in. If only he didn't swear, I could show his videos to my primary class - they'd love him! A latter-day Norman Wisdom but without the excruciating giggling fits and references to Mr Grimsdale

I saw Lee Evans last week, and can honestly say I have not laughed that much in ages! A true comical genius
