Went to see Lee last night and my chest still is still sore. He is my hero and I can't wait till the next tour

Jason Galleymore, December 2005

Never had a chance to see my hero live but I suffer from anxiety and slight depression and wnenever I put a video on of Lee, I'm in a little world of my own. For the length of time it's on it's like escapism, I forget my problems. For people to take away a person's depression is very hard to do and Lee Evans, in a way, is therapy for me

Lasherlall, December 2005

Seen him live twice. Both times I came away with my face hurting. Never seen anyone as funny. Ever. At all. Anywhere.

Paul Hemingway, December 2005

Lee Eans is the best comedian ever, I really like his jokes and I am always laughing at them no matter how many times I have heard them.

Sam, November 2005

I was in the record-breaking audience at Manchester and Lee didn't let anyone down. Wonderful, brilliant, funny, funny and funny again.

Keith Withers, November 2005

Went to the filming of the DVD in Cardiff and it was a fantastic show with 95% brand new material plus two songs (one about wales which literally gave my mum goosebumps) and a performance of Bohemian Rhapsody (a routine I will never tire of). Altogether a terrific night.

Joanne, November 2005

Still recovering from seeing Lee last night at the Newcastle Arena, XL tour. I'm still a little light headed! It's the third time I've seen him live in the North East and he was fantastic - again. I think he's definately back to true form. True fans love a little back reference to previous sets. I wouldn't say any of his stuff was 're-hashed', Can't wait to watch it all again on the DVD

Jill Dellow, November 2005

Saw Lee's XL show in Nottingham on Saturday - a very disappointing mix of old material and weak new routines, topped off with a bizarre, repetetive and totally unfunny song for an encore (during which the audience looked at each other in silent puzzlement). Since when were you a singer Lee? And since when were gags about punching women funny? You are better and funnier than this - must try harder!
