Just watched the XL DVD. Fantastic, jokes were funny as anything and the songs he did were out of this world. Fantastic talent

There is just no finer stand up than Lee. I've seen a fair few and have never seen a stand up create such love from his audience. Pure entertainer, excellent slapstick, material, one liners and then he plays an instrument and sings a song he's written. At every show I've seen of Lee's he's had a standing ovation. That's love.

Never had a chance to see my hero live but I suffer from anxiety and slight depression and wnenever I put a video on of Lee, I'm in a little world of my own. For the length of time it's on it's like escapism, I forget my problems. For people to take away a person's depression is very hard to do and Lee Evans, in a way, is therapy for me
