Speaks all of the things you want to say yourself but would never dare say. He is a maniac granted, but a bloody funny one

Edgy isn't the word. An odd experience - actually being physically afraid of a comedian. And Id like to say that underneath all the anger and bitterness is something cleverer - but I'm not sure there is. Not that it matters. Consistently exciting to watch he's a valuable addition to the circuit.

I saw him do a gig some years back to an audience of 12 at a failed comedy venue and he completely ditched his usual act to do an hour of great low-key sit-down story telling, like a favourite uncle enertaining a dinner party. The sign of a great professional.

He's got some fine, original material. Sadly he lets himself down with too much pub-joke filler and a persecution complex of biblical proportions.

Hugely offensive yet bellyachingly hilarious. Top bloke
Terry, November 2004
Very funny comic, however is table throwing, chair breaking, phlegm spitting moments slightly over shadow the actual comedy. Has you on the edge of your seat throughout the act. An experience nevertheless.
Mick Wilton, October 2004
Though shocking he proved both original and very funny.

Worked with Ian after not seeing him for a good few years and was reminded what an intelligent, soulful, charismatic, prolific, and downright hilarious comedian he is. I was truly inspired.
