The term 'stand up comedy' does not quite do justice to the performance I witnessed at the Bath House in Cambridge last Sunday. The most engaging, powerful, nerve wracking but ultimately hilarious piece of performance I have ever seen. Inspiring.

Greg McHugh, October 2005

Well he was pathetic in Windsor on Friday. Half the audience had walked out by the time we left. Largely unfunny, embarrassing to watch, he spoiled the atmosphere created by the two previous acts.

L, October 2005

Hmmm....Had me (and the rest of the audience) in hysterics most of the time. But at other times I had to wonder when they put the straitjacket back on him?! Not for the feint of heart but really quite good

Kevin Jackson, August 2005

Ian Cognito is probably the most offensive man I have seen in my life. But because he is equal opportunities, insulting everyone and everything, it's impossible to accuse him of prejudice. And more importantly, he's side-splittingly funny, even when he's insulting you or casting aspertions on your relationship with your best friend. Definitely unlike any other act you'll see on the comedy circuit, and very rewarding if you're prepared to take it all in your stride.

Jane, May 2005

Hilarious, bloody funny. Everyone was in stitches

Critic, May 2005

Total prick. Not really. He was amazing! The whole room was aching with laughter. If you get the chance, make sure you go and see him.

Andy, May 2005

Raises the question what is comedy? Although the answer is 'its subjective' i find it hard to belive jokes about rape and muslims not drinking can be classed as edgy comedy. Grossly offensive, painfully obvious and unnecessarily agressive. Avoid like the plague.

Tom Pain, April 2005

If I wanted to be physically intimidated and shouted at by a drunken berk I'd go home for a chat with my Dad. Nothing controversial or thought provoking in his routine, just lame attempts to shock by spitting over the front two rows then picking on an audience member who doesn't deserve it (heckler or not). Avoid at all costs. Can quite easily ruin a night out

Neil, April 2005
