He's got some funny stuff but he doesn't rotate his gags often enough and he can be compared to a broken record. After a while I found myself zoning out of what he was saying and was actually a bit bored.

I saw him compering at the Comedy Store and thought him bland bland bland. And smug. Although I wanted to find a better word than that because the last comment had used it...but it's the perfect word. So there we are. Bland. Smug.
