Finalist in Funny Women, 2007

This girl is brilliant. She's a joy to watch. Her act is hilarious and really witty. It's a refreshing change to see such original talent! Go and see her!

Having seen Emily Haworth Booth perform a few times now, (including the Funny Women Final) I think the review is unfair. Haworth Booth is one of the funniest and most original comics out there on the open mic scene, and to use words like ‘tired’ suggest to me the reviewer is tired of laughing, along with being jaded by originality and apathetic to intelligence. I will say the reviewer is correct in saying Haworth Booth seems to be writing for someone else. She is also performing for someone else other than a dopey reviewer.
