I'm a new act, and Ed opened tonight - he was really good - clever, funny, got people involved - for someone new, a pretty decent benchmark

chris hayward, February 2011

Have you seen his Auschwitz set? It's 'awesome'!

Billy No-Mates, January 2009

If you don't like Ed O'Meara, you're a racist.

Will, September 2008

I'm a little confused by this review too - it wouldn't normally to describe another act as 'the least racist act I know', but Ed really is - he's had a go at the BNP pretty much every time I've seen him perform. I can only assume that what he was trying that night was an experiment in lampooning a racist attitude which may not have worked that night. But he's normally brilliant and funny and I'll join the others in expressing my hope that this review is updated as soon as possible.

Charlie Saffrey, December 2007

Very very funny social commentary. We were lucky enough to see a breif set last night at The Nuffield in Southampton and he was fantastic. Very funny, very current and highly recommended! I don`t think the main "reviewers" comments are worthy or valid. He more than held his own last night with an audience who I presume were there (mainly) to see someone else. He was a pleasant surprise and I can`t wait to see more of his material. See him if you get the chance! You won`t be disappointed.

Tracey-Ann, November 2007

WTF? Who wrote this review? Ed and his act are hilarious, and by no means racist. I've seen him a whole bunch of times - he may talk about racism, but whoever wrote this had their ears on back to front...stoopid fool! Remove this review and get someone with ears and a clue to write something decent about this man.

Jim, June 2007

Pretty irresponsible to call someone a 'borderline racist' after seeing a short set. I think maybe the only criticism comics actually need is the instant criticism of audience reaction. Still, after such an outright, heated attack, I reckon he's probably worth a look!

Dubcek, May 2007

Racist my arse - social commentary, and funny social commentary what's more. Bit of stereotyping, but that ain't racism! You've got it well wrong!
