Danny compered for me last night at my new club Laughter House in Basingstoke. The atompshere was terrific; mainly due to Danny's wonderfully quick repartee, and warm and charismatic stage presence, which at times had some members of the audience crying with laughter!Danny mate, you'd better come back... Some of the audience were crying with laughter. Nessie Flange, October 2007 |

This guy was the best I've seen and very confident. Qualifies for the rare award of being what I call "A funny man". Look forward to seeing him again soon Tony Warren, August 2007 |

Fantastic act. It was a shame that there were so few in the audience but he coped very well. Well worth seeing Steve, August 2007 |

Danny compered for our club Comedy Up The Cross, and was absolutely fantastic. He was really confident and interacted continuosly with the audience - all of whom were happy to chat! What makes him different is he doesn't ask someone a question and then immediately launch into his own repertoire of gags. His material was mainly based on audience feedback which meant everyone listened - and more importantly...laughed! His interaction with the audience was never vindictive. He was witty, original and a real likeable performer. Danny was a real pro. I'd book him again anytime. Jake Howe-Douglas, March 2007 |

Has the audience eating out of his hand. He makes it look so sodding easy. Nessie Flange, March 2007 |

I find these comments staggering. It is boring, dull & obvious humour of the worst kind. Imagine if (insert name) was on drugs blah blah blah. Followed by the obligatory knob gags, wank gags etc, heard it all before. Try writing something original, please. Jo-Ann, February 2007 |

We had Danny as our MC in Petersfield last night and he was brilliant! He worked our audience to perfection and shone out with his off the cuff improvisation and interaction with the crowd. I had so many glowing comments throughout the night on how good he was and was asked several times when he was going to be coming back. My answer? Soon! Chaz, January 2007 |

I saw Danny Dawes at Downstairs at the Kings Head, and he was great. You could tell he was a real pro, and the audience loved him. Jayjay, January 2007 |
