Festival fundraiser line-up revealed
The line-up has been announced for the Leicester Comedy Festival’s charity gala Comedy Heaven.Ed Byrne will be headlining Sunday’s fundraiser immediately after his sold-out solo show at the city’s Curve theatre.
Also appearing is last year’s If.comedy best newcomer Sarah Millican, plus Rob Rouse, James Dowdeswell and Dan Atkinson.
Tickets for the show, at Phoenix Arts, cost £10 and all profits go to Amnesty International and ProstAid..
The same charities will benefit from Chortle’s annual Comedy Pub Quiz, to be held in Bowie’s Bar at the Belmon Hotel at 3.30pm on Sunday, hosted by Dowdeswell.
