Take home The Comedians

Vintage stand-up on DVD

A second DVD from Seventies stand-up show The Comedians is released this week – and we have five copies to give away.

The Very Best Of Series Two contains routines from the likes of Frank Carson, Charlie Williams, Bernard Manning, Colin Crompton and Ken Goodwin.

This series ran on ITV in 1971, though the programme as a whole ran until 1993.

The new release also includes the documentary There was this Fella…, about Northern club comics, which originally aired in December 1971.

It is out on the Network label, priced £12.99, but to stand a chance of winning one of our copies, just answer the following question by March 24, when we will select the winners at random from all correct entered. Bulk entries from automated systems will be disqualified.

What was the name of Bernard Manning's famous Manchester nightclub?
