Comic plays a care robot
The BBC has released the trailer for the new Diane Morgan comedy, Ann Droid.
In the forthcoming series, the Philomena Cunk star plays an overly attentive, socially inept, robot carer for Sue – played by Sue Johnson.
The droid was bought – second-hand – by Sue’s only son, Michael (Paul Ready), to try to keep her company after her husband passed away…
All episodes will drop on iPlayer on Saturday July 11.
