The BBC has released the first teaser trailer for series 5 of Inside No 9.

Based around the spinning of a roulette wheel, it gives a few clues to episodes in the new season, including the flipping over of a tarot card, a prisoner in an orange boiler suit,  and what looks like a young YouTuber signing off.

The trailer also includes clips of episodes set inside a referees' dressing room and in a police car on a stakeout, as screened at the BFI in London last week.

An episode about a stage magician was featured in a South Bank Show about creators Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith last year.

Series 5 is expected to air next month – having been shot almost a year ago.

Chortle has previously reported that a sixth series is also in the pipeline.
