What has the National Lottery ever done for us?

Jimmy Carr fronts new sketch

Jimmy Carr fronts a new star-studded comedy sketch to promote the good causes that have benefitted from the National Lottery.

The comic (dead) parrots Monty Python’s 'What Have The Romans Ever Done For Us?’ scene in detailing what proceeds from ticket sales have helped achieve in the past 25 years.

The sketch features cameos from Rio Ferdinand, Scarlett Moffatt, Big Narstie, Sir Tony Robinson, Blake Harrison, Nicola Adams, Sir Chris Hoy and many others, as they heckle Jimmy at a stand-up gig.

It was created by comic David Schneider to mark The National Lottery’s 25th birthday.
