Australia's already produced one housewife superstar, and you could easily think Morris was the next.

Her breathless brand of glamorous, gossipy, camp, snobby, self-deprecating, fast-paced banter always proves a winning formula, proving what a consummate professional she is.

Surprisingly barbed and subtle comments are dropped into her stream-of-energy performance, giving the the material a stronger edge than her brash-but-chatty style might suggest.

But it is the delivery that sells this mix of naivity and bitchiness, so relentless that you beg her to inhale, and so rich with potential catchphrases you struggle to take them all in.

The exaggerated girly laugh, which initially seems so grating, soon becomes welcome, as it's the monologue's only punctuation in her act ­ allowing Morris to catch her breath and the audience to release their concentration, unfailingly with a laugh.
