Sally Holloway – Original Review

Note: This review is from 2001

Review by Steve Bennett

Sally Holloway has now retired from stand-up in favour of running comedy courses, but Chortle wrote this of her in 2001:

With a commanding stage presence, Holloway confidently and seamlessly zings between amusing material and quick-witted banter.

This talent for thinking on her feet and willingness to engage the audience makes her an ideal compere, enfusing any gig with an irresistible energy.

Her regular sets, too, benefit from this lively delivery, as she rattles through wry observations and bright gags with a deft and assured touch. This > consistently strong performer has now firmly established herself as a comedic force to be reckoned with.
