Jim Jefferies on Donald Trump's remarks

Jim Jefferies has admitted he was more confused than offended by Donald Trump's 'grab 'em by the pussy' remarks.

During last year's Presidential election campaign, a 2005 recording emerged of Trump bragging about sexual abuse, saying: 'When you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab 'em by the pussy. You can do anything.'

But speaking on Conan O'Brien's US talk show last night, Jefferies confessed to being puzzled by the phrasing.

'I wasn't offended by that statement, I was bemused,' he said.

'If he said, "I grab 'em by the breast", you can see that. You still think that's wrong, but you visually see what he might have done. Or, "grab em by the head". Still weird, but you know what he did.

'But "Grab 'em by the pussy"? It's an inward thing. Like if I said to you I met a girl and grabbed her by the belly button. You're confused. You would be like "Did you mean poke?" "Did I say I poked her? I said I grabbed her!"

'If he said "I palmed her by the pussy", you'd go "a palming makes sense". But to grab a pussy? That's gotta be meaty low-hanging fruit...'
