Special being taped in London
Kiell Smith-Bynoe’s improv show Kool Story Bro is being recorded as a special.
The format, which has toured the UK and regularly played the Soho Theatre and Edinburgh Fringe, involves audience members sharing stories from their lives, around which a team of improvisers and a celebrity guest weave a longer narrative.
The core team has featured the likes of Emma Sidi, Graham Dickson, Lola-Rose Maxwell, Nic Sampson, Robert Gilbert and Anna Leong Brophy – with guests including Smith-Bynoe's Ghosts co-stars Mathew Baynton and Charlotte Ritchie, as well as Mo Gilligan, Guz Khan, Frankie Boyle and Rose Matafeo.
The show is being recorded at The Albany in Deptford, South London next Wednesday.
TV production company Expectation – whose credits include Alma’s Not Normal and The Lateish Show With Mo Gilligan – has sent out an appeal for stories to inspire the team at the special recording, which they say is not for broadcast. Email koolstory@expectationtv.com.
Tickets for the recording cost £18 with £2.50 per order in fees, and are available here.
