The internet is really becoming a thing these days, I think everyone will be using it soon! Which means there’s lots of chaos to dive into and absolutely no shortage of nonsense to tear apart.
Of the second series, he added: ‘I think we’ve definitely got better at finding the more niche stuff and the hidden gems like older couples who go on cruises and a woman who’s built a mineshaft underneath her house. Basically, stuff you might’ve missed when you’ve been doomscrolling in your spare time. This is going to be a lot more in depth, this is the really good stuff.’
And of the breadth of content online, Stirling added: ‘I don’t think anything can surprise me on the internet anymore, I think everything is fair game. I think the internet has taught us that people are freaky little freaks and they no longer need to hide, they can post it and people will enjoy it. Sometimes that’s good and sometimes that’s bad
The eight-part series, is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios. Its executive producers are Iestyn Barker and Luke Shiach. Each episode runs for an hour.
