Peter Kay adds hometown gigs – for Boltonians only

Raising money for the town's hospice

Peter Kay is adding four more shows at The Albert Halls in Bolton, after all four of his original hometown dates were snapped up as soon as tickets went on sale.

The extra performances, in January, will again be reserved for local residents, with tickets available only to people with a Bolton (BL) postcode. Profits from every show go to Bolton Hospice.

It comes after he played four gigs at the same venue last week.

Kay said: 'There was such a big demand for tickets for the shows that I really want to do more and give the people who missed out the chance to come along.'

'I'm putting on four more shows in the New Year and playing at the weekend means I can also perform matinees, as well as evening shows and increase funds for the hospice, which is what it's all about.'

The new dates are Saturday, January 9 and Sunday, January 10  with a 3.30pm and 7.30pm show each day.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, July 17 at 10am, via quaytickets.com/boltonalberthalls.
