Phoebe Waller-Bridge comedy sold to Latin America

Fleabag is going to South America.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s multi-award-winning show has just been sold to Comedy Central Latin America, which covers countries including Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Chile.

‘Comedy Central Latin America is always looking to offer the best comedy content out there, and Fleabag is unique on its own,’ said executive Tiago Worcman. ‘We are thrilled to be welcoming this show to our programming roster and further reinforce our position as one of the best comedy destinations in the region.’ The series will air there later this year, at a date to be determined.

Today’s news follows recent acquisitions in Japan, where it will air on Wowow, Australia (ABC) and New Zealand (Sky New Zealand).
