Bill Burr to make an ‘outrageous psychological thriller'

New short-form series in the pipeline

Bill Burr and a host of fellow comedians are making an ‘outrageous psychological thriller series’ for new short-form video platform Quibi.

Breaking Bad actor Burr will write, direct, star in and executive produce the series, tentatively titled Immoral Compass, based on existing shorts created by Tyler Falbo.

Each episode opens with a character facing a desperate desire such as love, fame or money, and is then faced with a highly unethical decision which could give them exactly what they want… but with unpredictable consequences.

‘I was blown away by the originality and style of Tyler’s work,’ Burr said in a statement. ‘I’m very excited to be included in his show.’

The comedians he'll be working with have not yet been named.

Quibi will enter America’s crowded subscription TV market on April 6, priced $4.99 with ads and $7.99 without.
