End of the line for All Together Now

Rob Beckett’s primetime Saturday night show All Together Now has been axed after two series.

The BBC has confirmed that it has dropped the singing competition, which the comic co-hosted with former Spice Girl Geri Horner.

Singers had to win over a panel of 100 judges in an attempt to win the £50,000 top prize. 

In a statement, the broadcaster said: ‘While there are currently no plans for a further series of All Together Now, we would like to thank Rob and Geri and all members of The 100 for two fabulous series and an unforgettable celebrity special.

‘The award-winning format has now sold in 13 countries and the BBC is delighted to have played a part in bringing this unique singing show to the wider TV world. We would like to thank the production team for all their hard work in launching such a successful format.’

The latest series averaged 3.4million viewers.

Earlier this year the BBC also axed Wedding Day Winners, another primetime show Beckett hosted.

He is also a team captain on the E4 panel show 8 Out of 10 Cats and the narrator of the reality series Celebs Go Dating.
