Australian fest announces more shows

Rob Kemp’s retelling of the Evil Dead 2 through the songs of Elvis Presley is heading to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

His show, Evil Dead 2, has just been added to the programme 100  days before the festival kicks off.

Fellow Brits Sarah Keyworth, Lazy Susan, Eleanor Tiernan and Ed Night have also been added to the world’s second largest  comedy event after the Edinburgh Fringe.

It runs from March 27 to April 21 with the full programme available from February 12.

But other international acts already confirmed include Daniel Kitson, Maria Bamford, Mark Watson, Daniel Sloss, David O’Doherty, Stephen K Amos, Des Bishop, Paul Foot, Fern Brady, Phil Wang, Jimeoin, Larry Dean, The Kagools, Abandoman and Carl Donnelly,
