Three decades since their C4 show first aired

Adam Buxton and Joe Cornish are to reunite on stage to mark 30 years since their Channel 4 series first aired.

The pair will take to the stage  at London's Royal Albert Hall this November, to revisit clips and behind-the-scenes stories from The Adam And Joe Show, which ran for four series on Channel 4 between 1996 and 2001.

In a statement announcing the show, the pair said: 'You're invited to a giant watch party to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Channel 4's groundbreaking DIY TV sensation, The Adam and Joe Show, featuring big-screen assisted retro-ramblings from Adam and Joe in person. 

‘It'll be the most fun anyone's had since the late 90s, with two men who are almost in their late 90s! Toymovies! BaaadDad! The Vinyl Justice Squad! Stupid pranks! The Footie Song! Afflicted with nostalgia? Join thousands of friendly fellow sufferers in a big room and have it cured!'

The show takes place on Wednesday November 11, with tickets going on general sale at 10am on Friday.

Buxton and Cornish were childhood friends who created and presented The Adam and Joe Show from their shared bedsit, developing it from Buxton's earlier work on the Channel 4 series Takeover TV, a compilation of viewers' home videos and lo-fi comedy. 

Since the show ended, Buxton and Cornish have continued to work together, including on shows for XFM and BBC Radio 6 Music, while also building solo careers. Buxton has become a writer, comedian and podcast host, while Cornish has become a screenwriter and director, making his directing debut with Attack The Block.
