All about her wanderlust

Brodi Snook is to record her first stand-up special for BBC Radio 4.

The show revolves around her nomadic lifestyle since leaving her small hometown in Western Australia – which she jokes is ‘the kind of place where the mayor's only job is repainting the population sign every time a motorhome drives through’ – at the age of 18.

Producers say the stand-up show ‘explores the inescapability of self,’ with the comedian ‘acerbically dissecting the lengths she'll go to to try and fit in’.

Meanwhile, Snook jokes that she is ‘like Marco Polo if he did tampon jokes for cash.’ 

The show is being recorded in front of a live audience at Up the Creek in Greenwich on August 19. Free tickets are available via www.sroaudiences.com – but for over-18s only as the show contains adult themes and language.
