Before she was shamed over her Epstein links
Alan Carr was reportedly planning a travelogue TV show wit Sarah Ferguson before the full extent of her links to Jeffrey Epstein were made public.
The comedian was among the last visitors to Royal Lodge before she and her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor were turfed out earlier this year, The Mail on Sunday reports.
There they are said to have ‘actively discussed’ the plant to make a televised road trip to unusual locations in the US. Unnamed friends told the newspaper that they had got on ‘like a house on fire’.
The former Duchess of York was on Carr’s Life A Beach podcast in 2023, and plans for the TV show were apparently mooted around the same time.
Unsurprisingly, the project has now been indefinitely shelved, the newspaper reports.
Carr is to front a separate travelogue for Prime Video. Provisionally called the F*** It List, the Celebrity Traitors winner will experience ‘try before you die’ experiences with fellow comics including Jack Dee, Tom Allen and Joanne McNally – all stablemates at the Off The Kerb agency.
