Opposite Greens leader Zack Polanski

Finlay Christie is to make his debut on Have I Got News For You.

The comic will be appearing on the December 5 edition of the topical panel show opposite  Green Party leader Zack Polanski, who is also making his debut.

Polanski – who infamously once claimed to be able to make women’s boobs bigger via hypnotherapy – had originally been due on the show earlier this month, but had to postpone his appearance.

Christie performed his first stand-up show as part of the Comedy Club 4 Kids nights at the tender age of six and in 2019 he won So You Think You’re Funny at the Edinburg Fringe,  becoming  one of the talent hunt’s youngest ever winners at 19. Three years later he made his full debut with OK Zoomer.

He is also popular on YouTube, where his channel has more than 550,000 subscribers for series such as If Peep Show Was Set In 2025 and Asking Black and White People the Same Questions About…

Christie’s previous TV credits include  Live at the Apollo, Bake Off Extra Slice, and appearing in dictionary corner on 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown. He is currently developing a scripted project with Hat Trick, the producers of Have I Got News For You.

His debut on the show will come a week after fellow comic Bella Hull also makes her first appearance.

Mathematician and presenter Hannah Fry will host his episode, her ninth time on the programme.
