Jeff Garlin and Susie Essman to break down every episode

Curb Your Enthusiasm stars Jeff Garlin and Susie Essman are to make a new podcast about the making of Larry David’s cult hit.

In The History Of Curb Your Enthusiasm, the pair – who play  married couple Jeff and Susie Green on screen –  will be joined by cast, crew and super fans of the comedy to break down every episode so far.

And there are plenty: 111 episodes have aired since the show launched on HBO in 2000, and production is now under way on a 12th season.

The podcast will launch in January, one of a number of new programmes announced by producers iHeartMedia today, with others featuring the likes of Rosie O’Donnell, Jason Alexander amd Eric Andre.

Company president Will Pearson said: ‘We are thrilled to share the newest slate of iHeartPodcasts, hosted by some of comedy’s biggest icons and hilarious new voices.’

The forthcoming slate also includes;

Onward with Rosie O’Donnell (working title). Launching in February.  Rosie O'Donnell shares her take on fame, family and fun from her vantage point at 60, speaking with friends, celebrities, newsmakers, artists, poets and TikTokers

Really? No, Really?. Launching in February. Every Tuesday best friends Jason Alexande  and Peter Tilden are joined by experts, newsmakers and celebrities in an attempt to find answers to the things that make people go… ‘Really? No, Really’" Listeners can even suggest topics as the two hosts search for the answers to life’s most baffling, intriguing, confusing and annoying questions.

 The Amber and Lacey Show. Launching in 2023. From late-night comedian Amber Ruffin  and her sister Lacey Lamar comes a new comedy podcast   featuring celebrity guests, comedic games and a huge dose of sibling rivalry.

 Bombing with Eric Andre: Coming  in spring. A comedy interview show featuring comedians, musicians, and artists sharing their best stories of bombing on stage in front of a live audience and more outlandish comedy premises.

All shows will be available from the usual podcast platforms.
