Stars get image coaching in new Channel 4 spoof with Amelia Dimoldenberg

Jimmy Carr will learn how to be less mean in a new Channel 4 series that gives celebrities an image makeover.

In other episodes of Celebrity Rebrand, Romesh Ranganathan will become a social media star, Rosie Jones will become an action hero and Clare Balding will become less boring.

The spoof series is fronted by YouTuber Amelia Dimoldenberg in the guise of a mock PR guru.

She made her name with the web series Chicken Shop Date, in which she awkwardly interviews rappers and grime artists in fast-foot outlets. And there’s little change to her technique in the Channel 4 show, as this clip reveals:

Also taking part are Made In Chelsea's Jamie Laing, who will learn to be less of a love rat, and Naked Attraction host Anna Richardson who will be rebranded as The Naked Lady.

Six ten-minute episodes are being made by Ranganathan’s production company Ranga Bee and will be released online from December 16.
