Ayoade and Berry together again

IT Crowd stars sign up for new animated comedy

It Crowd stars Richard Ayoade and Matt Berry are being reunited in a new TV series.

However the pair will not be seen on screen together as the new project,  Krapopolis, is an animated show from Community and Rick and Morty creator Dan Harmon

Set in mythical ancient Greece, the comedy revolves around a flawed family of humans, gods, and monsters

Ayoade voices the mortal son of a Goddess and benevolent King of Krapopolis, Tyrannis, who is trying to make do in a city that lives up to its name.

Berry, who also appeared alongside Ayoade in Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace, will play Tyrannis’ father, Shlub, a mantitaur – a hybrid of horse, human, lion  and scorpion.

Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddington has also joined the cast as Deliria, Tyrannis’ mother, ‘goddess of self-destruction and questionable choices’.

The show launches on Fox in America next year.
