Her first ever appearance on the show

Aisling Bea is to host Have I Got News For You for the first time next month.

Her appearance in the chair on June 4 is her first appearance in any capacity on the topical show.

Fellow comedian Roisin Conaty will also be on the episode as a guest, alongside BBC newsreader and the recently-announced new host of Mastermind, Clive Myrie.

From this week, a live, if socially distanced, studio audience will be returning for the recordings.

Bea’s episode is the last in the current - 61st - series of the programme, which airs at 9pm on Fridays.
