PALM SPRINGS: New on Amazon Primes is this Andy Samberg sci-fi romcom, offering a new take on the Groundhog Day plot device. The Brooklyn 99 Star and How I Met Your Mother's Cristin Milioti play two strangers who meet at a Palm Springs wedding only to get stuck in a time loop. It won critical acclaim and two Golden Globe nominations and has just become available on Amazon Prime Video.

THE SKETCH FACTOR: Daunted by those podcasts that offer three hours of unedited conversation? Well this scripted offering gets straight to the point with each episode just one sketch and a few minutes long. It's hosted by Portlandia 's Fred Armisen as Xandor Szavost, an inventor, philanthropist and billionaire who is using his fortune to finance a sketch comedy competition for his own amusement. Those taking part include Ryan Perez, Kurt Braunohler and Tim Robinson. It's available on Spotify.

HOT AIR: Die-hard Steve Coogan fans might be interested in this 2019 comedy in which he plays a conservative Talk Radio host, whose life is upended by the arrival of his biracial 16-year-old niece. The critics hated it, but it landed on Amazon Prime Video yesterday.
