New Sky series will also feature stand-up footage

Russell Howard is shooting a travelogue during his current tour of Australia and New Zealand.

The Sky One show - provisionaly entitled Russell Howard’s Back To The Future Stand Up Show  – will also feature extracts from comedy sets filmed down under.

Howard is performing his Respite tour in Christchurch tonight and has other gigs in New Zealand lined up until February 13. 

Earlier this month, became the first Northern hemisphere act to play the country after his gigs were given the go-ahead provided he spent 14 days quarantining in a hotel. New Zealand has been Covid-free for two months but yesterday reported its first case outside of a quarantine facility.

Meanwhile, Howard’s Australia dates have been rescheduled for July.

Russell Howard’s Back To The Future Stand Up Show will air on Sky One in the summer,

The broadcaster has also confirmed that his topical show The Russell Howard Hour will be returning for a fifth series later this year.
