First line-ups for series 19 revealed

The line-ups have been announced for the first episodes in the new series of Mock The Week. 

Dara O Briain returns to host the BBC Two show for a 19th series, starting at 10pm on October 22.

He joked: 'To reflect the national mood, each show will begin with me screaming noiselessly into the camera for five minutes.' 

The new series  will be recorded with a remote studio audience, and perspex screens between the guests.

It will run until February 4, with a month-long break over Christmas.

As well as regular panelist Hugh Dennis, the line-ups for the first few episodes are:
 
Episode 1, October 22: Tom Allen, Angela Barnes, Rhys James, Athena Kugblenu, Nigel Ng
Episode 2: October 29: Eshaan Akbar, Ed Byrne, Sophie Duker, Ed Gamble,  Maisie Adam
Episode 3: November 5: Ed Byrne, Ed Gamble, Sukh Ojla, Mark Simmons, Maisie Adam
Episode 4: November 12:  Tom Allen, Angela Barnes, Ed Byrne, Milton Jones, Thanyia Moore

 Kugblenu,  Ojla and Moore are making their Mock The Week debuts this series, as are Michael Odewale,Chris McCausland,  Laura Lexx and Catherine Bohart in later episodes.
