X to air on three Vue screens next week

Daniel Sloss's stand-up special X is to be screened in cinemas again next week.

The show, filmed at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney, was previously shown in 29 Vue cinemas in February, where it grossed £4,758 at the box office – an average of £164 per screening.

Now the performance is to be shown again at Vue venues at Edinburgh Ocean Terminal, Westfield White City and Salford Lowry at 9pm next Friday.

On its first screening, Vue executive Johnny Carr said: ‘This really is a unique opportunity to watch and consume a comedy show like you never have before.

‘Watching from in front of the big screen, with the ultimate seat and sound, viewers can really get lost in his performance and immerse themselves in his sharp insight.’

The rescreening comes at a time when most Hollywood releases have been put on hold because of the devastating impact the coronavirus has had on cinema attendances.
