ENTERPRICE: Landing on BBC One a few months after its BBC Three iPlayer debut is the second series of Kayode Ewumi’s comedy about two South London entrepreneurs trying to escape the hustle and get their new delivery business, Speedi-Kazz, off the ground. Trieve Blackwood-Cambridge co-stars, and in this first episode their characters Kazim and Jeremiah encounter  a young girl on the run from a gang and end up in territory they’ll come to regret.BBC One, 10:50pm

THINGS MY MOTHER NEVER TOLD ME: A new series in which comedian Sindhu Vee invites guests to talk about their mothers, starting with Man Like Mobeen star Guz Khan. Other guests across the series of 15-minute episodes include Mae Martin, Tom Allen and Jayde Adams. Radio 4, 11pm

IN THE LONG RUN: The comedy based on Idris Elba’s experiences of growing up on a London estate, returns for a third series. And now the mother of Elba’s character Walter arrives, adding to the pressure. Meanwhile, life is good for Bagpipes (Bill Bailey), but a panic attack reminds him of the fragility of life… Sky 1, 10pm

FRANKIE BOYLE LIVE: EXCITED FOR YOU TO SEE AND HATE THIS: BBC Two presents Frankie Boyle’s hometown gig in the King’s Theatre in Glasgow at the end of  his first major tour of Scotland in more than 12 years, as  chronicled in the earlier series Frankie Boyle’s Tour of Scotland. In the stand-up show, he examines Glasgow’s relationship with swearing and vitamins, talks about the nature of controversy and comedy and turns his eye to Britain’s politics.BBC Two, 10pm

Friday July 24

THE YOUNG OFFENDERS: The coming-of-age comedy about loveable rogues Conor (Alex Murphy) and Jock (Chris Walley) and their mother/guardian Mairéad (Hilary Rose) – return for a third series. And with Jock a new father, as well as being expelled from his Cork school, the duo must find their way as young adults and learn to support their unconventional family. SUMMER COMEDY FESTIVAL: Radio 4’s new curated stand-up showcase starts with Miles Jupp introducing  stand-ups Simon Munnery, and Paul Sinha, plus  crime writer Val McDermid. Radio 4, 6.30pm
