No third series for Jason Manford show

ITV has pulled the plug on Jason Manford’s family game show What Would Your Kid Do?

The show has run for two series and challenged parents on how well they knew their own children, who were secretly filmed in various scenarios. The challenge was for the mums and dads to best guess how their kids would react.

A TV insider told Chortle: ‘It performed well in the ratings but ITV want to keep their schedule fresh by bringing in new formats’.

The series launched in 2008 with just under 2million overnight viewers – but suffered from being scheduled against The Great Celebrity Bake Off.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Paddy McGuinness’s dating show Take Me Out had been axed after 11 years as ITV bosses felt the series had ‘run its course’.
